On August 15, 2022, the opening ceremony of the 13th China-ASEAN Youth Campus and China-ASEAN Youth Development Forum were held simultaneously in Guangxi and Yunnan province, combining both online and offline. Mr. Fu Zhenbang, Vice-Chairman of the All-China Youth Federation, and Mr. Wang Xinfu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region CPC Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Mr. Ekkaphab Phanthavong, Deputy Secretary- General of ASEAN Secretariat, delivered a video speech. Mr. Meng Qipeng, Honored Chairman of the Guangxi Youth Federation, and Mr. Tang Yuan, Honored Chairman of the Yunnan Youth Federation, attended the event and made speeches. About 120 participants, including diplomatic envoys from ASEAN countries to China and youth representatives, attended the event.
